Voted as one of New York Magazine's "Best Physicians in Pediatric Allergy" for the last six years, Paul Ehrlich, MD, is a leading pediatric asthma specialist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine.

After more than 25 years of treating children struggling with asthma, Dr. Ehrlich strived to help establish a breakthrough, in-school asthma program that would improve the lives of children in New York City, and particularly the underserved community who typically has less access to adequate healthcare. Project E.R.A.S.E. (Eradicating Respiratory Asthma in Schools to help children Excel), is the first program to send asthma specialists into local schools to offer free diagnosis, advice on treatment and continued education to children, parents and educators during the school day.
Over time, Dr. Ehrlich and his medical team hope Project E.R.A.S.E. helps to reduce school absenteeism and emergency room usage in children with asthma to help them excel in and out of the classroom and improve their quality of life.
